Texas Instruments TPS82084 High Efficiency Buck Converter Module
The Texas Instruments TPS82084 High Efficiency Buck Converter™ module is optimized for small solution size and high efficiency. The power module integrates a synchronous buck converter and inductor, simplifying design, reducing external components and saving PCB area. This solution is thin and compact, suitable for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment. To maximize efficiency, the converter operates in pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode with a nominal switching frequency of 2.4MHz. It automatically enters a power-saving operating mode at light load currents. In power-saving mode, the device operates with a typical quiescent current of 17μA. With the DCS-Control™ topology, the device achieves excellent load transient performance and accurate output regulation.
