Microchip dsPIC33EP Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs) and PIC24E Microcontrollers (MCUs) feature an enhanced core with up to 70 MIPS of performance. These Microchip 16-bit DSCs and MCUs feature up to 536KB of flash memory and 52KB of RAM, as well as greater I/O capacity and a USB 2.0 OTG interface to provide enhanced motor control, graphics, audio and real-time embedded control functions. Microchip dsPIC33EPxxxMC20x / dsPIC33EPxxxMC50x DSCs and PIC24ExxxMC20x MCUs enable interfacing with PCs, Flash drives and other USB-enabled devices. The performance of 70 MIPS means that these devices can support computer interface applications.
