The FSA2567 is a bidirectional, low-power, dual-channel double-pole double-throw (4PDT) analog switch targeted at dual-channel SIM card multiplexing. It is optimized for switching WLAN-SIM data and control signals, dedicating one channel as a power switch. The FSA2567 complies with SIM card requirements and has a low conduction capacitance (CON) of 10pF to ensure high-speed data transmission. The VSIM switch path features low RON to ensure the lowest voltage drop in the dual SIM card power path. The FSA2567 contains special circuitry to minimize current consumption when the control voltage applied to the SEL pin is lower than the supply voltage (VCC). This feature is especially important for ultra-portable applications, such as cell phones, to facilitate direct interfacing with the general-purpose I/O of the baseband processor. Other applications include switches and connectors shared among portable cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, printers and notebook computers.
